WGR conducts detailed slot machine inventories for casino clients who want to compare their slot products to the competition. WGR conducts two major slot inventories per year for slot machine manufacturers, typically collecting 16 to 18 characteristics per machine. The most recent inventory was conducted in 2012 and included 63 casinos with over 116,000 slot machines.

Slot Inventories:

  • Conducted a detailed physical inventory of 18,000 slot machines at eight large local casinos in Las Vegas for a casino client who will use the data to configure slot mix for replacements and expansions. Inventories included the names of games, manufacturers, coin denominations, machine types, ticket in/out, progressive names and jackpot amounts, cabinet types, WAPs, participation games, and poker game names and pay tables.
  • Conducted inventories of 50,000 slot machines at 27 U. S. and Canadian casinos for a major slot machine manufacturer. Inventories included game names, manufacturers, coin denominations, bonus mechanisms, ticket in/out, WAPs, participations, and cabinet types. Results were placed on WGR's website for confidential custom reporting to the client.
  • Conducted a physical slot machine inventory of the 38 existing California Indian casinos including the number of slot machines by manufacturers, coin denominations, and types, as well as the number of Nevada style table games.
  • Conducted a detailed slot machine inventory in five Tribal casinos in Northern California.
